Canada was the first country to pull-out of Durban II and to refuse to lend its good name to a conference that promotes hatred. Israel followed suit, as did Italy more recently. This past weekend, the United States finalized its decision to boycott the conference. Australia, New Zealand, the Netherlands, Poland, Germany and the Czech Republic have also joined the boycott. Sweden, the UK and France have announced they will not send high level delegations that include government ministers to the conference.
