PETITION: Cease All Canadian Funding Used to Radicalize Youth

B’nai Brith Canada has produced a report outlining the abuse of Canadian generosity by UNRWA and the Palestinian Authority (PA). Canada must cease funding educational programs that incite hate, normalize violence and diminish the prospect of peace in the Middle East. We therefore call upon the Federal Government to:

1. Immediately undertake a forensic audit of Canada’s financial contribution to UNRWA. Canada must determine for itself what proportion of its own contributions to UNRWA have been misused by the PA to develop their dangerous curriculum.

2. In light of these egregious violations of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals and Canada’s own foreign policy, Canada must no longer finance the development and utilization of curriculums and educational materials that promote the glorification of terrorism and the indoctrination of hate.

B’nai Brith Canada a produit un rapport décrivant l’abus de la générosité canadienne par l’UNRWA et l’Autorité Palestinienne (AP). Le Canada doit cesser de financer des programmes éducatifs qui incitent à la haine, normalisent la violence et réduisent les perspectives de paix au Moyen-Orient. Nous demandons donc au gouvernement fédéral de

1. Entreprendre immédiatement un audit légal de la contribution financière du Canada à l’UNRWA. Le Canada doit déterminer lui-même quelle proportion de ses propres contributions à l’UNRWA a été détournée par l’AP pour développer son dangereux programme d’études.

2. À la lumière de ces violations flagrantes des Objectifs de développement durable de l’ONU et de sa propre politique étrangère, le Canada ne doit plus financer le développement et l’utilisation de programmes d’études et de matériel pédagogique qui encouragent la glorification du terrorisme et l’endoctrinement de la haine.
