Fighting for Human Rights in Medicine, Academia, and Beyond

Join us for an illuminating hour with Dr. Steve Samuel, founding member and first chair of Doctors Against Racism and Antisemitism (DARA).

As the child of Holocaust survivors, Dr. Samuel has long been attuned to the dangers of rising hatred and antisemitism, including the existential threats facing Israel today. Disturbed by the infiltration of these harmful ideologies into medical literature and academia under the guise of science, Dr. Samuel helped establish DARA 16 years ago. Since then, he has continued to serve on its Board, working tirelessly to combat racism and antisemitism in the medical field and beyond.

Don’t miss the opportunity to hear Dr. Samuel’s personal story and gain insight into the ongoing fight for human rights in medicine and academia.
