JEWISH HERITAGE MONTH PARTNER: Spadina-Fort York
MPP Chris Glover is a tireless community advocate who has dedicated many years to improving the lives of those around him.
He has spent decades educating Toronto’s youth, having started his career as a teacher at Centennial College. He later taught at the Toronto District School Board for 12 years before becoming an adjunct professor at York University.
He also served for two terms as a Trustee on the TDSB Board, working to improve parent-school connections, and as a member of the Toronto Board of Health.
In 2018, MPP Glover was elected to serve as the MPP for Spadina–Fort York as a member of the Ontario New Democratic Party. He was re-elected in 2022.

Le député Chris Glover est un infatigable défenseur de la communauté qui a consacré de nombreuses années à l’amélioration de la vie de ceux qui l’entourent.
Il a passé des décennies à éduquer les jeunes de Toronto, ayant commencé sa carrière en tant qu’enseignant au Collège Centennial. Il a ensuite enseigné pendant 12 ans au Conseil scolaire du district de Toronto avant de devenir professeur auxiliaire à l’université York.
Il a également siégé pendant deux mandats au conseil d’administration du TDSB, où il s’est efforcé d’améliorer les liens entre les parents et l’école, et a été membre du conseil de santé de Toronto.
En 2018, le député Glover a été élu député provincial de Spadina-Fort York en tant que membre du Nouveau Parti démocratique de l’Ontario. Il a été réélu en 2022.
