About the Panelists
Detective Sergeant John Khoshandish is the unit commander for the York Regional Police Tactical Intelligence Unit, leading intelligence development on organized crime, and supporting national security, counter-terrorism, and foreign interference investigations. He has advised the House of Commons Standing Committee on Public Safety and National Security and contributed to national police training standards through the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police subcommittee on foreign interference. John holds a Master’s in International Affairs and Cyber Security from King’s College London and a Justice Studies degree from the University of Guelph.
Craig Jerusalim, CFA is a Senior Portfolio Manager, Canadian Equities, at CIBC Asset Management where he is responsible for growth and dividend growth portfolios. He also oversees small-cap mandates. Prior to joining CIBC AM in 2006, Mr. Jerusalim worked as an analyst at Dynamic Mutual Funds and a software developer at Amdocs Ltd. Mr. Jerusalim holds a Bachelor of Science degree from McGill University and an MBA degree from the University of Toronto. He is also a CFA charter holder.
Neil Bisson is the Director of the Global Intelligence Knowledge Network and is a retired intelligence officer with over 25 years of experience in national security, intelligence collection, and law enforcement. He served with the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) and the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA), specializing in counterterrorism, foreign interference, and espionage. As a leading expert in intelligence analysis, Neil provides in-depth insights into global security threats, foreign influence operations, and state-sponsored espionage.
He is the host of the Global Intelligence Weekly Wrap-Up and Spies Like Uspodcasts, where he breaks down complex intelligence issues for a broad audience. Neil has been featured in major media outlets, including The National, discussing high-profile cases of terrorism and foreign interference. His expertise makes him a sought-after speaker on intelligence and national security matters.
