We’re delighted to welcome world-renowned speaker, educator, and storyteller Michael Soberman as the featured speaker for our next Men’s Program event.
Join us for an inspiring and thought-provoking storytelling hour as Michael brings to life remarkable and often surprising encounters with Jewish life gathered from his travels across seven continents. From Antarctica to Chile, Havana to Marrakesh, this powerful exploration of Jewish identity, community, and connection takes listeners on a rich journey into Jewishness, and what it means to be Jewish in today’s diverse and ever-changing world.
Engaging and deeply human, Michael’s stories remind us that even in the most unexpected of places, the Jewish experience has a way of finding us—and bringing us together.

Speaker Bio
Michael B. Soberman is a world-renowned speaker, educator and storyteller who inspires and makes you laugh. His meaningful stories challenge audiences to think about important issues. Through his years of experience in Jewish, Israel & experiential education and his travel to all seven continents., he addresses issues that matter to the Jewish community’s future. Michael has been invited to speak all over the world and for the first time, he has compiled many of his stories into this book. Michael was born and raised in Toronto, Canada where he currently resides with his family. When he is not travelling the world collecting stories and experiences, Michael is studying Shotokan Karate and working towards earning his black belt.
