SAC-LHR: Emergency Community Briefing
UPDATE: Due to the recent attacks targeting the Jewish community, our planned joint panel has shifted to an emergency community briefing.
Recent attacks on Jewish institutions have deeply shaken our community and underscored the urgent security challenges facing Jewish Canadians today.
At this critical moment, B’nai Brith Canada’s Special Advisory Council to the League for Human Rights (SAC-LHR) invites you to an emergency community briefing with His Excellency Iddo Moed, Ambassador of Israel to Canada, and Simon Wolle, CEO of B’nai Brith Canada.
This briefing will offer insight into:
- The recent attacks targeting Jewish institutions in Canada and what they reveal about the current threat environment
- The escalation of antisemitism nationwide and its impact on Jewish communities
- How government, law enforcement, and civil society can confront hate and protect vulnerable communities
- The essential role of solidarity, vigilance, and leadership in responding to this crisis
We hope you’ll join us for this timely and impactful conversation.
